Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP)
To pitch the product Scrub Daddy, you'll want to understand the importance of keeping things clean. While Scrub Daddy is primarily used for dishes, for safety week, we'll focus on cleaning surfaces that have been potentially infected after a BBP incident.
Complete the first 3 activities to prepare for your pitch.
1. Read about Bloodborne Pathogens
First, you will read through this article from the American Red Cross regarding bloodborne pathogens - what they are, how to prevent exposure, and what to do if exposed.
Pay special attention to the bullet-pointed items. While you read, think about times in you may be exposed to BBP either in the office or in the field.
2. Watch How to Clean up BBP
Associates at Isett are not expected to clean up blood at work. However, I'd like you to watch this video to know how to do so, moreso that you know you should not just wipe it up with a paper towel and move on.
If you get a cut and get some blood on your desk, or similar situation, you may clean it up using this method.

3. Play Dress Up Bob
Bob needs to get dressed to clean up a blood spill. Using your knowledge from the reading and video, please dress up Bob for his task.
Within the PowerPoint, drag the items on Bob. If the dragging isn't working, just place circles over the correct items. You'll submit this PowerPoint page (or PDF or Picture of it) for your final pitch.
