Choice of Project
No arcade is complete without PIZZA!
For your final boss of the safety week arcade you have two choices.
Completing one or the other will earn you entry into the
final boss prize:
A pizza party for 12!
Your choices:
- Describe a near-miss that has occurred while at Isett.
- Create a Safety Poster for the Arcade.
Choice 1: Describe a Near-Miss
A near-miss is described as a time when an injury did not occur, but one could have occurred if there was a slight difference in time, place, or position.
Learning about near-misses is one of the most important ways that we learn about what you experience in your day-to-day at Isett and how we can stop injuries before they start.
Have you fallen but caught yourself in time? Been in a dilapidated building that didn't collapse? Has an aggressive person ended up walking away?
Whatever it is, whenever it was, we want to know!
Choice 2: Make a Safety Arcade Poster
For our creative types - or those who have always been incredibly safe at work - you can create a poster!
For this option, you will use Canva, Google Slides, Pen & Paper, or whatever you are comfy with.
You should create a poster that we can "hang in the Safety Arcade."
Your poster should be about a safety topic (not the arcade itself) and should be informative and/or catchy.
Some ideas of general safety posters are shown below.
You'll be entered to win:
A pizza party for 12!
You and 11* friends/department members/people you want to make happy will enjoy a pizza party in your office.
Delivered from your favorite pizza place, you'll receive: 4 Large Pizzas, 4 2-L Sodas, a side (fries, garlic rolls, etc.), and dessert.
Make sure your friends play the final boss game for more chances that you'll enjoy the meal!
